2. Data We Collect
Account & Identity Data: When authenticating to the Service, we process your email address. Authentication is executed via a passwordless One-Time Password (OTP) delivered to your registered email address per session.
Location Data: With your permission, we collect precise or approximate geolocation data from your device to identify nearby EV charging stations, provide route navigation, and determine charging point availability. Location services can be disabled in your mobile device system settings at any time.
Charging & Transaction Records: Details regarding your charging sessions, including station identifiers, connector types, energy consumed (kWh), timestamp, duration, and calculated tariffs.
Billing Information: Payments are processed via external, PCI-DSS compliant third-party payment gateways. We do not store raw credit card numbers or security codes (CVV) on our servers.
Technical & Diagnostic Data: IP address, device model, operating system version, app logs, and crash diagnostics collected for system stability and service optimization.
3. Purpose and Legal Basis of Processing
We process your data for the following purposes:
To deliver core charging functionalities, locate stations, and authenticate users.
To process billing and metering for EV charging sessions.
To communicate account verification codes, transactional notices, and customer support resolutions.
To ensure technical integrity, prevent fraud, and comply with applicable statutory obligations.
4. Third-Party Service Providers
We may disclose collected data to trusted infrastructure and service providers strictly under contractual data protection terms, including:
Cloud hosting and database providers.
OCPP/OCPI charging network operators and station aggregators to initialize and monitor physical charge sessions.
Transactional email delivery providers for dispatching OTP verification codes.
PCI-compliant payment processors.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal data only as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide our services. Transaction and billing records are stored for the period required to comply with financial, tax, and legal requirements.
6. Account and Data Deletion (User Rights)
You have the right to request deletion of your account and all associated personal data at any time pursuant to Apple App Store Review Guideline 5.1.1(v) and Google Play policies.
How to Delete Your Account and Data:
In-App: Navigate to Account / Profile → Settings → Delete Account and confirm the prompt.
Via Email: Send a written request to contact@carawayinternational.com from your registered email address with the subject line Account Deletion Request - Charging Champion.
Upon receiving your verified request, your profile, authentication credentials, and device records will be permanently purged within 30 days, excluding records mandated by statutory financial accounting laws.
7. Data Security
We deploy standard administrative, technical, and physical security measures, including transport-layer encryption (HTTPS/TLS) and restricted database access controls, to safeguard personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or destruction.
